Springer Kangaroo Family

MOTHER Victoria is very house proud, and now that she is also rather house-bound with her new baby, she has set up a small laundrette business in her home. She's one of the few people in the whole of Sylvania that actually enjoys doing the ironing!

FATHER Darwin is the local vicar for the Glen Fallow Chapel. He's a very curious academic, and delivers fascinating sermons to the congregation. He also happens to be the Captain of the Fallow Cricket club - and on Sunday afternoons he changes out of his cassock and into his cricket whites, all ready for a vigorous session of batting!

SISTER Sydney is a pro cross country runner, and is first in her age group for the whole of the Rutlands! She hopes one day to be champion of Sylvania, and she dedicates all her free time to training and injury prevention.

BABY SISTER Adelaide is the youngest inhabitant of Glen Fallow, and rather famous amongst the village-folk as a result. Her mother can't take her anywhere without all the mothers cooing and awing as Addie pulls her placid little smile.


The Springer family live in The Manse, on the East side of the meadow. They are so close to the water's edge that at night they are lulled to sleep by the babbling of the river Fallow.
